Whilst browsing through Deviant Art I found this picture on - http://carfan3k.deviantart.com/. I love the new Audi range and especially the R8, I have never seen it in this colour before so I thought it was defiantly worth posting because it looks so good.

Photoshop Painting.

Recently I have been practicing painting in Photoshop, despite the amount of university work I have. I felt my colour theory is lacking, as with all aspects of my art work I try to turn my weaknesses into my strengths. Below is an image I drew with a col-erase and coloured in PS using photo reference. Its not my usual technique but it the best I have come up with so far, although there are some silly mistakes. I will continue to practice and post the improvements as I produce them.

Collaboration Project pt.1

Here are some character design sketches from my current project where I have collaborated, myself designing the character, John rigging and modeling

and then Dean will be animating.

I will also be story-boarding a sequence for the characters which I will posting along with the colour turnarounds of the character.  

Today I had a tutorial with Dr Tom Abba - www.tomabba.com reviewing my current  project Business Card and Self Promotion. I had some very helpful feed

 back regarding minor details with my current logo and use of typography. Expanding on my overall progress he directed me to a web comic for inspiration and possible direction for future work, if you have the time you should check it out - www.nawlz.com which is by far the best interactive web comic I have ever seen, with some great illustrations and a funky soundtrack also.

Anyway, here are some of the logos I have put together, don't be alarmed none of them are final especially the colour schemes, I just wanted the to be 'in your face' for now and I will post the final images as they develop.  

 

Casino Concept Robots

The images shown here are a concept design project where I was required to design 3 robots that are to work efficiently within a casino environment.

I spent one week on each image including thumbnails, development sketches and colour keys. (not shown)

The first image is a Croupier-Bot that represents the sinister nature that gambling can sometimes portray.   

This second image is how I would define futuristic casino protection and surveillance.

A contracting company that offers the most technologically advanced methods of crime prevention and protection within a casino.  

                                                                    

Finally the third design shows my interpretation of a casino waitress, designed to float around the casino serving the gamblers.
